We meet at the Café Stop, Eastgate Square, Pickering at 9am on the first day for breakfast and a briefing before embarking out across the Yorkshire Moors, where we will negotiate river crossings, the famous Rudland Rigg and a diverse range of other lanes.
You will travel between 50 and 60 miles on the Moors before we head over to Leyburn in the Yorkshire Dales where we will check-in to our hotel for the night and enjoy an evening meal and a chat about our exploits of the day.
The next morning, we will set out over the Yorkshire Dales, driving lanes such as West Cam, Cam High Road, Fremington Edge, Holgate, Stalling Busk and others. We will finish around 4 pm all being well, leaving you plenty of time to drive home.
This tour is not for soft-roaders. You will need a well-prepared 4×4 vehicle with at least all-terrain tyres, a full-size spare, low box and good ground clearance. If in doubt, please contact us.
You do not need to carry recovery equipment because we carry everything that may possibly be needed in our lead vehicle. In fact, if you do need to be recovered, we will insist that our tested and approved recovery equipment is used for the sake of your safety and ours.
