We meet at the Café Stop, Eastgate Square, Pickering at 9 am on the first day for breakfast and a briefing before embarking out across the Yorkshire Moors, where we will negotiate river crossings, the famous Rudland Rigg and a diverse range of other lanes. All being well, lunch will be at one of the excellent pubs in the area.
You will travel between 50 to 60 miles on the Moors before heading over to Leyburn in the Yorkshire Dales for an overnight stay and enjoy an evening meal and a chat about our exploits of the day.
After breakfast the next morning, we set out over the Yorkshire Dales, driving lanes such as West Cam, Cam High Road, Fremington Edge, Holgate, Stalling Busk and others. We will finish around 4 pm all being well, leaving you plenty of time to drive home.
It’s always a good idea to take snacks and drinks with you, just in case things don’t quite go to plan.
