Although not included in the price of the tour, if you need somewhere to stay on the evening before the tour, the Victoria Hotel ( is ideal, as it is where we will start our tour the next morning.

From Robin Hoods Bay, one of the most picturesque villages on the North Yorkshire coastline, we will begin our tour, taking in the sights and views of the North Yorkshire Moors, where we will negotiate river crossings, the famous Rudland Rigg and other lanes. All being well, lunch will be at one of the excellent pubs in the area. At the end of the first day, we head over to Leyburn in the Yorkshire Dales for an overnight stay and enjoy an evening meal and a chat about our exploits of the day.

After breakfast the next morning, we set out over the Yorkshire Dales, driving lanes such as West Cam, Cam High Road, Fremington Edge, Holgate, Stalling Busk and others. The day will finish where we started in Leyburn. After breakfast the next morning, we will start our journey to the Lake District by way of the Westmoreland hills.

We will spend the next two days and evenings in the Lake District, driving some of the most challenging lanes the UK has to offer before heading over to the West coast on the last day of the tour.

It’s always a good idea to take snacks and drinks with you, just in case things don’t quite go to plan.
