A two-day tour of the Lake District taking in the classic lanes of the Lake District National Park. We will travel lanes such as Breast High Road, Stile End, Oxon high fell and Parkamore and enjoy the splendorous views only the Lake District has to offer. The lanes of the Lake District are nowhere near as challenging as they used to be just a few years ago due to maintenance work carried out by the Lake District National Park Authority (LDNPA), but the views this tour offers over the lakes, which most never see, are sensational.
This tour is not for “soft-roaders”, you will need a well-prepared 4×4 with a minimum of all-terrain tyres for this trek. We normally stop at a local establishment for lunch each day, but it’s good advice to carry drinks and snacks in case the schedule is delayed for any reason.
