The Mid & North Wales tour of the 14th & 15th March 2020 that was postponed has been rescheduled for the 15th and 16th of August 2020.
We advise customers booked on the Mid & North Wales tours of the 2nd and 3rd of May 2020 and 30th and 31st of May 2020, to cancel any hotel bookings made. It will be possible to book at a later date if the tours go ahead. We will update you further in due course.
Today we have updated our web site to include tour specific information pertaining to COVID-19, in order to keep our customers as up to date as possible.
Today, the government announced that pubs, bars, cafe’s and other leisure facilities close until further notice. Although we’re not running tours at the moment, if we were, they would be affected by this, because we often stay overnight in hotels and eat in local restaurants etc. Major sporting events are expecting to restart in June, which is a good indicator of when things may return to some level of normality, but this is a moving window that will depend on the Coronavirus situation at the time.
Coronavirus is having a disruptive effect on travel throughout the World, and countries are introducing extreme measures to delay the spread of Coronavirus at very short notice and, in some cases, no notice. The measures range from regional travel restrictions to closing borders entirely. In the UK, the government is gradually imposing tighter restrictions to combat the spread of COVID-19.
We are monitoring the situation and will try to give customers one month notice if a trip they are booked on has to be postponed.
