Join Ardventures for an epic 21-day camping expedition through one of the world’s most diverse and fascinating countries. From the vibrant streets of Istanbul and the forests of the Black Sea region to the vast Anatolian Plateau, the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia, the rugged Taurus Mountains and the stunning Mediterranean and Aegean coastlines, this is a true overland adventure on a grand scale.
Covering approximately 4,000 miles (6,400 km) within Turkey, this expedition takes you far beyond the typical tourist routes. Expect spectacular mountain roads, remote villages, ancient history, dramatic scenery and authentic cultural experiences as we explore some of the country’s most remarkable regions.
Highlights include Istanbul, Cappadocia, the Taurus Mountains, Antalya, Turkey’s beautiful Lake District, Pamukkale, Ephesus and the Aegean coast. Along the way, you’ll experience a constantly changing landscape, from high mountain passes and rolling plateaus to Mediterranean beaches and ancient civilisations.
Participants should allow approximately four days of travel each way to reach and return from the expedition, depending on their chosen route through Europe and ferry crossings.
To maintain the small-group atmosphere that Ardventures is known for, participation is limited to a maximum of just five vehicles.
