This GPX route will take you from the A64 near York to the eastern end of Danby Beacon on the North Yorkshire Moors by way of some green lanes you possibly never knew existed. It is an easy route designed for SUV’s such as the Freelander, with the option to drive down and back up Monket Bank from Rudland Rigg. Please note that Monket Bank can be a challenge for vehicles with limited flex, and caution is advised when there is snow or ice around. Low profile tyres are not suitable.
